Taught by State- and NRA-Certified Instructors, The Handgun Familiarization Course will teach you the fundamentals of handgun ownership.

This course, taught at Elite Training Academy's indoor range and training facility in Indian Trail, is perfect for those new to the world of shooting sports, as well as the handgun veteran! The five-hour, hands-on course includes both classroom and range time and is designed to make you into a more informed and safety conscious gun buyer and gun owner.

• Handgun Safety and Operation
• Responsibility of Handgun Ownership
• Types of Handguns
• Cleaning and Maintenance
• Handgun Storage
• Basic Marksmanship
• Shooting Stance, Grip, & Dominant Eye
• Loading and Unloading
• Handling Misfires, Clearing Malfunctions
• Trigger Pull and Control
