The Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 2 is a dedicated fixed-mount long gun light. It has two options for activation, a wired pressure switch, with momentary on and constant on operation, so you hand can be in a natural position on the rifle, and a regular button. Both attach to the light at the end-cap. It features a rail clamp that attaches to Picatinny Rails. TEN-TAP programmable solid state electronics with three user selectable programs. On the High setting, it produces 625 Lumens and casts a beam 297 meters (974 feet) and will run for 2 hours with fresh batteries. The low setting will produce 60 lumens and casts a beam 89 meters (291 Feet) and will run 21 hours on fresh batteries. The Strobe feature can be used for disorienting someone while in a dark setting. It uses 2 CR123A batteries, and the Streamlight Limited lifetime warranty. It is made from machined aluminum and is water resistant to one meter for 30 minutes. The flashlight has an overall length of 5 inches and weighs 5 ounces. It uses CR123A batteries and has a push-button tail switch and solid state power regulation to provide consistent maximum power throughout the life of the battery.
