This is a vintage Browning marked pistol case. It features black vinyl construction with red felt lining and brass zipper. The case measures 14" from end to end and 7.5" across at it's widest, the tag is marked RR22L which suggests that it was probably meant for a Browning Challenger, Nomad or similar handgun.
