This is an extremely rare FN Model 1922 Dutch military contract pistol chambered in 380 ACP. In 1925 1,200 of these pistols were ordered for the Koninklijke Marechaussee (Royal Military Constabulary) which is what the "Kon.Mar" stands for on the left side of the slide. Of those, this pistol is number 153. As noted Anthony Vanderlinden book "FN Browning Pistols" there were only four others known at the time. in recent years a few others have turned up including this one but still fewer than 10 in total. This is considered one among the rarest Model 1922 variations and very rarely ever appear on the market for sale. This particular example is made even more unique by the fact it is chambered in 380 ACP. Known examples with matching barrels appear to be chambered in 32 ACP. Overall condition of this pistol is good. The bore has plenty of shine with strong rifling and all numbers are matching. There is wear and patina to the finish with about 50% of the original bluing remaining. The included magazine is an aftermarket replacement.
