Francotte Model 30 12 Ga Shotgun - Collectible *1926*

This is a used Auguste Francotte & Cie No. 30 side-by-side shotgun that is chambered in 12 gauge. Overall condition is very good. The metal is in excellent condition with just some minor marks from use and handling. The case hardened receiver still retains beautiful colors. The wood is solid but has a few dings and scratches. The stock has been lengthened, a rubber butt-pad installed, and has been refinished. The bores look shiny. They measure IM and CVl on a choke gauge. It functions perfectly mechanically. This shotgun features the second highest grade of engraving with flying birds and scroll covering the side-plates and trigger-plate. The marks on the gun indicate a date of manufacture of 1926 in Belgium with subsequent importation to the U.S. by Von Lengerke & Detmold. What appears to be the original leather case is included along with a period cleaning kit. This is a classic early century European made double. Nowadays it is nearly impossible to find this kind of workmanship for this price. Order online today!
