This is a pair of antique French percussion dueling pistols. They feature 9.25-inch rifled .36 caliber barrels with carved wood stocks and floral engraving on the metal. The pistols are marked "1" and "2" and the bottom of the barrels are marked "CFM" along with an unknown makers mark. These pistols date to the mid 19th century and feature an adjustable rear sight that can be raised or lowered by turning the small knob located behind it using a tool that's not included. Overall condition is good considering age and mechanically everything works as it should. There is some light pitting, tarnishing and patina on the outside of the barrels, along with some scuffs and pressure marks on the wood. The bores still have strong rifling but they are rusty.
