This is a Portugese M1885 bayonet By made by Steyr for the Kropatshek rifle. It features an 18.5 blade and total length of 23.5", the spine marking is very difficult to read but appears to say "Steyr 1886". Overall condition of the bayonet is fair with the original edge, there is corrosion, patina and some light rust, the wood grips have some chips and nicks. The scabbard is in poor condition with quite a bit of corrosion, rust and pitting, the number on it does not match the bayonet. Buy online today!
