The Trijicon ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) is a fixed power, compact riflescope with an illuminated reticle pattern for use in bright to low/no light. The ACOG is designed to be extremely durable and reliable. Combining traditional, precise distance marksmanship with CQB speed, many variants include a bullet drop compensated (BDC) reticle. Every feature of its design was chosen for a single purpose: to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions. With all the performance of the original Trijicon ACOG wrapped in a smaller 4.9oz package, the 1.5x16S model is perfect for fast-moving tactical teams and speed-oriented competitions. This highly compact riflescope provides platforms like M16/M4 with excellent fire control capability and lightning fast target acquisition because of the larger field of view (7.4 degrees) and eye-friendly design. Using Trijicon's Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) feature, users can keep both eyes open while engaging targets and maintaining maximum situational awareness. Dual illumination provides two sources of battery-free illumination - fiber optics and tritium. The fiber optics use ambient light to automatically adjust the brightness level and contrast of the reticle to available light conditions. The tritium-phosphor lamp glows in low-light conditions. Comes with an TA30 M16 Carry Handle Base, screw and washer set.
