This is a used U.S Krag Bayonet with Scabbard, dated 1900. The handle of the bayonet is stamped "270" and the blade is stamped with the US logo and 1900 on the opposite side. The bayonet shows general signs of use and wear, while overall in good condition. Used on the .30-40 Krag, the Krag was the first small caliber repeating rifle to utilize smokeless powder.
