This is a vintage Remington 1903A3 rifle chambered in 30-06. It features a 24-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, claw extractor, aperture rear sight, leather sling, bayonet lug, and wood stock. Overall, this Remington is in good condition with normal age-related wear on the barrel, bolt, and receiver. Bore condition is good with strong rifling. The stock is lacking inspection stamps and appears to be of a more recent production. The barrel was manufactured by Remington and is dated April, 1943. Based on serial number range, this rifle was manufactured circa 1942. There are no import marks on this rifle. This would be a good choice for military surplus collecting. Buy online today!
