IBM Corp M1 Carbine Rifle In 30 Carbine Blue Sky Import - Rare Manufacturer

This is a scarce IBM Corp M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine and imported by Blue Sky. It features an 18-inch IBM barrel dated "9-43" marked with a flaming bomb and "BLUE SKY/ARLINGTON. VA". This rifle is a post-war rebuild that most likely came out of South Korea. Overall condition of this rifle is good. The bore has nice shine with strong rifling and the import marking on the barrel is modestly stamped compared to a lot of Blue Sky imports. The receiver, barrel, slide and trigger guard were most likely re-parkerized by Blue Sky after import. The rear sight, bayonet lug and flip-safety would be Korean War upgrades. The stock is in fair condition with many dings, scuffs, nicks, pressure marks and chips. There is a small crack behind the recoil plate.
