This is a WW2-era Kokura Arsenal Series 24 Arisaka Type 38 rifle chambered in 6.5x50 Japanese. It features a 31-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, wing protected front sight, ladder rear sight, sling swivels, bayonet lug, and two-piece stock. Overall, this Arisaka is in fair condition with moderate age-related finish wear throughout the barrel, receiver, bolt, and stock. Bore condition is fair with worn rifling. The receiver bears a 24th series mark with a Kokura Arsenal stamp and intact chrysanthemum. The barrel has an import mark near the muzzle. This would be a good choice for military surplus collectors.
