This is an antique Spandau Gewehr 88 rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser. It features a 29-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, tangent rear sight, and bayonet lug. Overall, this Gewehr is in fair vintage condition with moderate age-related wear throughout the barrel, receiver, and stock. The barrel has multiple dents and bore condition is poor with little to no rifling. The extractor and ejector are missing from the bolt. The receiver is marked with an "S" indicating that this rifle was converted for use with spitzer bullets. The receiver ring has an 1894 date. This rifle is not safe to shoot and is being sold as a display piece.
