Yugoslavian Zastava M48A Mauser 8mm Rifle with Bayonet - Military Surplus Rifle

This is a vintage Yugoslavian Zastava M48 Mauser rifle chambered in 8x57 Mauser. It features a 23.25-inch barrel, blued finish, and wood stock, the top of the receiver bears the Yugoslavian crest with "M48A" under it. The left side of the receiver is marked marked in Cyrillic "NPEAY3EHE 44" (Preduzece 44) which indicates Zastava Works manufacture. It is also marked "HPJ" which is code for "Hrvtasko-Prigorski Jedinice" or similar references to Yugoslav military/police. Overall condition is good, showing typical military surplus wear with decently shiny bore and strong rifling. The receiver, bolt and floorplate have matching numbers. Included with the rifle is a correct Yugo bayonet with scabbard that is in good condition with the factory edge. This would be a great addition to any military surplus collection. Buy online today!
