A message from Hyatt Guns…

March 28, 2020 – Hyatt Guns is Open for Business! While North Carolina Governor Cooper has issued a “Stay at Home” order, we are among the essential businesses exempt from the order and will remain open for business. We are taking certain steps to protect the health of our customers and staff, and we ask you to please follow these directions:

  1. Please continue to abide by the CDC’s social distancing guidance and keep a minimum of six feet distance apart.
  2. Internet orders are being processed, but we are experiencing delays. Please email us at sales@hyattgunstore.com and please DO NOT CALL. Phone calls will only further delay orders.
  3. We have several workstations in the store where you can fill out paperwork. We are taking every precaution, including using new pens for each transaction, having hand sanitizer available, and cleaning the workstations after each customer is finished.
  4. We have guns, ammunition, and accessories in stock with new inventory arriving daily. We are doing our level best to ensure you have what you need to protect yourself and your family.

We are committed to getting through this crisis together and we appreciate your patience during this difficult time.

March 24, 2020 – There is some confusion surrounding the recently released Mecklenburg County Stay at Home Order as the original release was missing a page. As a firearm and ammunition supplier we are among the businesses exempt from the order (under 14. Supplies for Essential Businesses and Operations). We are doing everything we can to stay open during this difficult time, and we appreciate your patience as we chart a path through this unprecedented event. You can read the full text of Mecklenburg County’s order here. We will continue to update you on our store hours here, via our email list, and via social media.

March 20, 2020 – During the past week we have been experiencing an unprecedented increase in business both in our retail store and online, as well as a surge in customer service calls and emails. Currently orders are taking between 7 and 10 days to ship, and we are requiring at least 24 hours on orders placed online for store pickup.

We currently have ammunition in stock in the most popular calibers, including 9mm and 223/5.56. However, we have instituted purchase limits in our store, and we are not currently shipping any ammo. This is to ensure all of our local customers can have the ammo they need to be able to protect themselves and their families. We’re receiving shipments daily on both guns and ammo.

Our retail store remains OPEN and we are monitoring the situation closely with local government and the CDC. We are continuing to urge all of our customers and staff to practice social distancing, wash hands regularly, as well as keep their hands away from your mouth, eyes, and nose. We are also limiting the number of customers that can come into our store at any one time. We appreciate your patience during this challenging time.

We all believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure right now. We also want to make sure you have the firearms, ammunition, and shooting accessories you need to be able to protect yourself and your family.

Remember to be vigilant, be smart, be prepared, stay safe, and stay sane.
